Maryland Gazette #484 Thurs 14th Aug 1754

We read in this article, published soon after Higgins’s execution, that he was transported to Maryland in 1754 on the ship Frisby.  Here is an excerpt from the Maryland Gazette mentioning the arrival of Frisby, captained by George Davie.

Ship Frisby, George Davie, from Bristol
Shallop Two Maries, Daniel Thorn, from New York
Sloop Georgia Packet, Daniel Higgins, from North Carolina

Cleared for departure:

Snow Polly, John Troy, for Barbados
